The Netherlands - Gymnasium Beekvliet

With around 820 students Gymnasium Beekvliet is, for contemporary concepts, a small school. This says a lot: A clear building, a clear education, an almost identical programme in the foundation, short lines, clear structure. Our students have many talents, high-level education is socially appreciated and our approach is recognised as successful. Beekvliet is a Catholic school that is open to all students who are eligible for a high school degree regardless of their philosophical beliefs. This means, inter alia, that heart for each other, openness, respect, trust and safety are keywords for the desired living and working environment at school.
More and more, we are aware that besides a Dutch identity we also have a European identity. In this context, we have developed an ever-expanding internationalisation programme in the last 15 years. Students get to know different cultures in different ways and connect in another language.
